Default Low Vacuum like -10psi Idle

I'm wondering if this is normal.. this is a 1.8t 1999 A4, I had a 99.5 A4 a few years ago, and it pulled -20 psi at idle, wondering what's up or if this is normal?

I have an APR chip as well, Also is this normal?

most likely caused by low compression or you have a nice size leak at the intake manifold.

Prob a leak (hopefully), do a boost leak test and maybe even try a different gauge to confirm your vacuum pressure.

hey welcome to the forums, we're always happy to have new members. just so you know, when you get to negatives, the measure for pressure is either inches or millimeters of mercury instead of psi.

around -20 to -25 is normal for a stock car. -10 is most likely a big leak somewhere. check your vac lines, especially under the intake mani.
