Absolutely. There were some guys from FastDubs who were supposed to make the Syracuse meet but we didn't see them. We had a good core of guys though and it was a fun time. No reason this one shouldn't be bigger, and those of us who were at that meet were definitely up for another - it'll happen for sure.

Sounds good osin. Jmgrande, the when isn't set yet but it'll be when the weather gets better. It'll be in Ithaca NY though. Info will come out well in advance and if you can/will make the drive, you'll have a good time. Hanging with other like-minded enthusiasts, for me anyhow, is the best part of being a gearhead.

Damn, I guess I never realized how far away Ithaca is. It's over 4 hours from me in CT.

definatley is the best part about being a gearhead.. no one around here.. nooo one is much into cars like i am let alone loves the audi/vw scene except my mechanic.. haha who does hillclimbing in his old mkII and is building a 2000 a4 1.8t for hillclimbing as well.. its sick stuff.. but CCA4 if you make it up from DC im suuree as hell gunna make the trip too.. cant believe youre in DC and im in VT and it takes almost the same amount of time to get there.. 5hrs32mins is what google says for me.. ahh cant wait for spring.. eff this cold and snow.. lol

They have a site license to brew Yuengling right on the premesis - doesn't get much better than that And yeah, I hope Siena makes good on his obligations. Sucks hearing about that.
I'm in for this!!! I wish...

CCA4 - I posted what happened on 2 previous pages.

I've taken long road trips for car-related events and it's always been worth it. I drove to the middle of Ohio for a barbecue once. Every mile was worth it. I knew a lot of the people that were there but only online with the forums. Meeting in person and putting faces with the names was a lot of fun.

Emilgevor lives in Ithaca and I believe he's the one that'll nail down the details regarding directions and such. We will have to set up a nearby hotel also so no one has to drive or hunt for a place to stay after the brewery. I know we've got several of us here that are in for sure or at least planning on it (myself, Hiwords, Jiggleo, Emilgevor, hopefully tware4021 and TheDavey from Syracuse, four other local guys who have B5s, here, one B5 Passat, and a pair of Stage 3 S4s). Upstate NY will definitely represent. Now it's up to you guys

Kriptonik, there will be more than a week's notice on this - plenty of time to gas up, drive out here, and join us. We will even have time to buff and detail your car to get the road trip grime off
