So i originally tried posting this question in electronics, but im posting it here hoping someone has the answer.
So I've got the Ice link hookup for my ipod and for the price i love it, but when my ipods connected i cant change songs because it gives me this "accesory connected" screen and wont let me go through my music and it drives me crazy. Does anybody know how to get around this or bypass it?

 

Use the cd track skip buttons on your oem radio above the volume control to use as is, or press menu on your ipod to use the ipod controls (i think)

 

Thats what I've been doing which is pretty sick, but i wanna be able to go to different playlists or search for songs without having to take it off every time.

Forgot to mention, i have the 1st gen ipod touch so i dont have the menu key

 

Im trying to think, because I could use my iphone when i had it installed... Ill throw it back in this week and see if i can figure it out
