Hard to tell from the audio but my power steering pump made a similar racket when it was on its way out. Does it ever go away? Better or worse at operating temp? cold starts?

Its louder upon initial startup. When the RPM's come down so does the noise. You can constantly hear it though as it never goes away and seems to get louder as the RPM's climb.

Lol, sorry, but seriously, if it rises with the revs, is something driven by engine. Likely something external. Visually inspect all the belts and wiggle stuff. Pulleys should spin, but not wiggle. If that fails to show anything, remove the core support (leave radiator hoses and what not attached, and look for the issue more closely. If you can, get a stethoscope tool (basically a doctor's stethoscope with a metal rod instead of a circular thingy) and touch the rod to various parts of the engine while it running to listen for it.

LOL. Yea seems like that's the only way for me to be sure of what it is. At first I thought I had a baby animal in my engine bay lol.

Sounds like one of your accessories might have a bad pulley bearing. Power steering is most common, so you can start there. Pull the belts off and spin everything by hand. Check the play and wobble. If you run the engine with no accessory drive belts and the sound is no longer present, the sound is likely caused by one fo the accessories.
