Inline fuel gauge
I currently have a schrader valve T in the fuel line to use the freebee Autozone fuel gauges for checking once in a while. Problem is, the gauges I rent from Autozone and O'Reilley almost NEVER work (last one pissed all over the place, but most often it is the schrader on the gauge not being pushed in properly (it seems that the rubber o ring around the 'pin' is causing the problem).
Being tired of running back and forth to the store with nothing to show for, I want to splice in a permanent little fuel gauge. As always, without breaking the bank.
I found a reasonably priced gauge (cheaper alternative anybody?) Gauge, Fuel Pressure, 0-100 psi, 1 1/2 in., Analog, Mechanical, Each for $18 plus ship/tax.

I need either a 1/8 NPT T with barbs, or get a 1/8 NPT T and 1/8T barbs.
What diameter (ID) is our fuel line? 5/16"? 3/8? 8mm? need to get the right barb size.
Or if someone knows of a complete setup that fits in the $30 $40 range?
