1.8T AEB - AFPR - drop in vs. 'inline'
On my B5 A4 AEB, I bought the (expansive) ECS AFPR to drop in place of the stock FPR (Giac PC16 calls for 3 bar, most run 2.8 bar). Still need to add a gauge (for checking, without having to splice in a handheld fuel gauge every time).
Upgrading another AEB to Giac PC16. Wondering:
Do the much cheaper 'non drop in' or 'inline' AFPR (come with gauge) work?
Just splice into the rubber fuel line ahead of the stock FPR?
What happens to the stock FPR, since it sits on a 'hard line'?
DIY, write ups, photos how to use an inline AFPR?
