My A4 was missing the door trim on the drivers side front and rear doors when I bought it almost 2 weeks ago. Looked like crap so I ordered the molding pieces off of the 'Bay for about $100 (kinda pricey for what it is, if you ask me).

The screws from the old molding were still attached, but the heads were stripped. Grrr Had to drill them both out:


After that it was cake. Makes a HUGE difference in appearance:


Just thought I'd share.

 

Looks much better man, I think almost all of us have done this lol. I agree that the mouldings are a bit pricey, but its one of those things thats worth the price, IMO

 

When I first looked at the pictures of my car before I bought it I was worried I would need the same. I was greatly relieved when went to see it in person that the dealer had already done it.

 

You could've gottem them cheaper at ecstunning.com.....the whole set is $164, free ship.....but I know you're happy, I've gotta do mine too ;-) Yours looks great!!

 

Thanks for the kind words everyone! I agree, it looks tons better than when I bought it, and although pricey, I also agree that it was definitely worth it. Something small like that makes a big difference.

 

OR you could have shaved it and made it super clean! ;-)
