installing giac chipped ECU
I just bought a alrdy chipped giac ecu off the net & was wondering after i pull my original ecu is there any due process to putting the giac one in, such as letting the car idle for a while, turning the key till the power comes on but not the engine and letting it sir ETC Thanks! Or can i just give her **** right away?
I would think that as long as the ECU numbers are the same, that you could just swap and go. I'm not 100% sure. "If"I were doing the swap, i would turn the ACC on for a little bit and then start it up and let it sit at idle for a while. Then go for a casual spin to let the ECU adapt.
