Default Instrument cluster issues!

Had burnt out bulbs on the speedometer and oil temp/voltage gauges. Got the wrong bulbs so I left them out of the cluster until I get the right ones. *The problem*. Now none of the gauges are lit up. The lcd and odometer are lit but not the tach, speedo ect. Could it just be the bulbs I left out causing a short somewhere?

Sorry for the paragraph and thanks in advance! Audizine is too good to respond about my problem lol.

everything but the cel is a SMD LED. sounds like a fucse or a backlight problem. they wouldn't all burn out

Not on the early B5's. They were all bulbs. LED's were later, not sure when.

Yeah the car is a 97, which doesn't have LED's. I'm thinking none of the main cluster bulbs will work unless they are all "plugged" in. Anybody know of a place to get just the little 1.2w bulbs outside of ordering them?

Dealer here doesn't even carry them. Just Google it, you'll find 'em.
