Interior audio beeping @ start up

Same problem
just got my daughter her first car, a beautifully conditioned 2000 A4 2.8 Quattro with 110,000 mi from one owner. i moved it yesterday and accidently triggered the alarm, i think from the panic button when turning on the ignition. No big deal till today when she yells at me for "wrecking her car", WTF?
First I know these cars have some quirks to them including a portion of the dash LED looking kinda scrambbled. The passenger door symbol indicates open but the door is not. She says since I moved it the drivers door symbol/indicator now stays on, worst (in her mind) the beeping stays on continous for over a minute or so. I don't know why??? Is it something I triggered or can anyone help??? please,

I have the same problem. I've tried everything to fix it I have no idea what it is but I know the lights ringing and door ajar are being caused by the same thing and I think water could be getting in to the electronics somewhere.

I have the same problem. I have a 2001 Audi A6 Quattro 2.8. I've tried everything to fix it I have no idea what it is but I know the lights ringing and door ajar are being caused by the same thing and I think water could be getting in to the electronics somewhere because it happens when it rains, snows, or in the car wash.
