Interior Illumination Voltages?
I am trying to find the source or where I might be able to tap into two separate 12 volt sources that are used for interior illumination.
1. The source that illuminates controls and such when the headlights are turned on (night time driving interior lights, illuminates all your controls and such)
2. The source that illuminates the interior dome lights for a given amount of time when the car is unlocked (goes off when car is started/key is turned)
I'm not sure where these source from, but if they're accessible in the kick panels on both sides of the car or either side that would be easiest. I'd rather not go about taping off one of the lights, prefer to get the signal from the source.
Any help is greatly appreciated. If anyone has a wiring diagram that they think might show this info, I'd love to get that too.

What are you trying to accomplish after you find the sources?

Thanks onepoint8tee I'll check that out. Nice job on the lights JC61990. I'm doing something a little different, but if I can't find the source for the interior accent lights that tip will help. Thanks guys. I'll post some pics when I'm done.
