More often than not only my tach and speedo won't work. Just bought last week 1996 A4 with 156k on it. My first Audi and so far I love it. All is good just that issue and ignition switch won't automatically go back to "on" when starting so the starter stays engaged. (I don't need help with that just need to buy a new switch.) Everything else on dash works fine, the only code is EGR flow insufficient (p0401), again I can fix that. I pulled my lower dash out to access relay but not sure which one it is, so I just pulled one at a time to see any burn marks or burnt smell with no luck. All fuses are good. Any info will help.

 

well if it ever works, it shouldnt be a fuse or a relay. im almost positive they dont go to a relay anyway. check your plugs and wires for your speed sensor that go to your transmission
