just bought a used suspension for my a4
I just bought this suspension.
Here is the thread with pictures, I don't know if my attachments will work right.

Does anyone know where i can find specs/ drop height etc of the springs?
I was told the struts are S4 sport struts.

Since I just finished installing the timing belt, what better way to keep the good times rolling than to move right on to installing these springs and shocks i just got yesterday...
I have a few questions though:
I could only find one article explaining how to change a suspension.
http://www.audiworld.com/tech/wheel14.shtml
Is there anything special I should know that is not mentioned in that article? where can i find spring compressors? would autozone or pepboys have decent ones?
what other parts do i need? the guy i bought them from advised buying new strut mounts, but i looked online and could only find them as a set of 2 for the front at 034. (~$15 ea) or oem for like $3 ea.
as far as i can tell, i need spring compressors, and new strut mounts, and the parts i already have and i should be good to go??

If the springs are already on the struts, you won't need compressors. If they are not, you'll need them. Advance Auto is where I got mine and they work fine for me. I would suggest you use an air gun when compressing them (read up on the right way to use them) - doing it with a ratchet by hand is VERY time consuming.
Read through www.audiworld.com in the Tech area and www.audidiy.com and you'll find step by step procedures on how to do this job on an A4. It's really pretty easy - you'll be surprised.
