Default Just a feeler.. MTM Carbon Air Box

I am thinking about parting with my MTM Carbon Air Box (I know this should go into classifieds, but not officially for sale) so i would like to gauge interest.

Air box slots in place of the original airbox. Will come with K&N filter, but it is not in the best condition. You will also need to use your own MAF sensor (which could just bolt into slot), cause i think mine is different (well it does not have a VAG part number, just a Bosch part number). Air box is in good condition. No rips or tears, the silver stick on heat shielding (where it is next to turbo) is showing age. I have modified it and added 2 additional slots at the bottom of the air box to increase air flow.

I live in the bottom of world (NEW ZEALAND) but am happy to freight worldwide at the buyers expense (payment must be made prior to it being sent).

Looking for $150 (NZD) which is about $120 USD or $80 Euro plus postage.

Reply to post or PM me.

????......

Well.... I can get my hands on another MTM carbon airbox. I have already cut a few more holes at the bottom of this one, but i now have a better idea on how to improve on my original "modification" (hahaha.... sounding like i may know what i am talking about.... NOT)

haha oh. nevermind then. I've always been a fan of keeping unique cars like that original and un-molested, like a 70' Hemi Roadrunner or something like that. But go nuts!

I absolutely agree with you. Special bit like the air box (I just love the carbon...) turbo, wastegate which make this car special i will retain. Like the orignial BBS wheels which was put on, i just love them.... reminds me of being a teenager again (which is when my wheels were popular)

I do plan on installing a RS6 intercooler, that will be it for engine stuff. After that it will be repair and maintenance!
