It will sound nice if you do it right. Get bigger piping from the cat like 2-1/2", then get a performance resonator. You should get a nice deep tone and it wont sound all raspy. A good muffler shop should know what to do in this type of situation.

a performance resonator? i didnt even know they made those... i was just gonna get rid of the resonator and straight pipe (well curve) to the new muffler

lol five bucks? I'm surprised it doesn't sound any different.. definitely looks a lot nicer. you could change your mid resonator to an aftermarket one and it should sound louder if that's what you want. and/or intake if you don't already have

i want just a nice deep throaty sound, not necessarily louder, jsut a deeper tone

and u know i meant 55 bux lol

You should get an aftermarket intake if you what that throaty sound.

i have one, well i have an aem dry flow filter which is good enough cuz its carb legal lol

but here is a pic.. hope this is what u are wanting... or were u wanting it parallel to the ground and exhaust?

Definitely looks good, and ditto what those guys said above - larger piping from cat to muffler and either high-flow resonator or delete the stock one (I wouldn't recommend that), and you'll have a nice tone to go with the look.
