I would actually consider buying that even though it's from ebay. It's something simple that has no moving parts, and all it does is quiet down the exhaust anyway. You can incorporate it with 2.5" piping from the cat-back and have a nice sounding exhaust. Even with a N/A engine, you'd gain a couple of horses too. The length of the resonator actually determines how much it quiets the exhaust and any muffler shop would know how to make any size work.

well my exhaust is quiet enough, i want it a LIL bit louder, hopefully this allows a lil more sound through than the stock suitcase haha

This is the thing though. If you get bigger piping and eliminate the stock resonator, then it might end up being too loud or raspy for your taste. The glass pack style resonator only quiets down the sound to a moderate level and allows for quicker exhaust flow than the stock one (that things a monster with many passages that slow down the flow). It really is a science between sound and performance like someone else mentioned earlier. It's your car though, but I just wanted to save you another disappointment if you were to visit the muffler shop again.

Yeah can't really hear it on the vid, but how do you like the sound now? Does it sound too raspy at higher RPMS?

well i like the sound yes... as far as raspy.. couldnt tell u, i havent ever taken the car above 3500 rpm lol... one thing that does bother me, as soon as i get close to 3500... i hear a hone or whine type noise and it freaks me out... but it sounds great, nice low tone... while on the freeway, its just enough to hear it (if ur doing the speed limit) but not loud enough where i cant hear my music... so its a good investment i think
