couple of thing.when i bought the car a was told you have to turn the ignition on till you get all the lights on and then you start it with a button.was told these cars were re called and this was the fix is this right.also was driving home and the belt that drivers the power steering and the alternator slipped off it hasn't snapped is this a big job thanks

 

Nope. That is not a fix for a recall. The guy who sold you the car is pretty much blowing smoke up your butt.
