I just got my 1996 Audi A4 2.8 V6 5 speed. Ive been reading and figured out a couple of things but im still pretty curious. I heard that 2.8 v6's arent as easy to mod compared to the 1.8T's but I still want to mod mine.

1)Are there any websites/shops that sell a ton of parts for my car?

2)What kind of muffler will give you a "infiniti g35" tone. Like that beautiful hum (my opinion). If there isnt a company that makes one, is it possible to make a custom muffler system that will produce the same tone?

3) What are some good audi mechanics that could help me mod my audi in the Newark, NJ area?

4) What is the cheapest upgrade that will boost my overall horsepower?

5)If there any other things youd like to tell me feel free to let me know!!!!

since you have a 12v 2.8.. the only mods u can really do are intake and exhaust.. then mainly physical mods for looks.... everyone else will tell you the same... 12v = slow and no mods...

research, read the stickies, use the forum search function. all of your questions have been covered ad nauseum. im glad you like your car but these questions can be answered if you spent a little time looking.

i dont really know what a G35 sounds like but i can tell you exactly how hard it is to engineer an exhaust for a particular sound. its hard. there are nice sounding exhausts for your car. do they sound like an infinity? probably not. its a completely different engine, different pipe lengths different sizes and different muffler setup.
