Can you post a pic of how they look on a B5 A4? Will I need to modify something or pretty much the install is a breeze?

 

Modification will be needed to fit into the bumper grilles but not a big deal. I did it on the S4 in under 1hr. You would also try under the grilles there are little vents in the bumper you might be able to fit it there. Few guys from AZ bought it and had no issues installing them into their B5s so i think you should be fine

 

The length you listed, is it end-to-end? If the clear plastic corners of the lens were to be removed, what would the length be?

I removed each corner actually to work on my S4 grille and it measured 10inches.
