Is this just my audi?

i tried to plug something into the cigarette lighter and it didn't work..i plugged the cigarette lighter back in and tried that and it worked..tried something else in the cigarette lighter and nothing?
any ideas

Is the item you're plugging in functional? Perhaps try plugging it into a different car's cigarette lighter and see if it works. If not, its probably the thing you're plugging in that's defective.
