no i did not =/ i dont know how to write up a DIY.
its really simple though. just take the shift **** off the pull that trim up around the shifter and there are 4 clips that hold the shift boot into place just push those all in the boot comes out. then i just put the crown bag right over the boot to keep the boot shape then i just snap the boot back in and the clips for the boot hold that CR bag in place.

and make sure you can put in all the gears without riping the bag.

how do you write a DIY??,and i guesss i should provide pictures?

Just snap a pic of each step. When you say clips point out when clips. Post it in the b5 section and a mod can move it to the diy section

Widdly Scuds.

Shopping spree at Autozone today.
Today, I bought tools. 200 piece set
Seafoam
Air filter (mine was replaced in Dec of 04, ugh)
Bearing grease
And 6 Coconut trees, to start my tree pile

Seafoam will be tomorrow, it kind of scares me.

So my air filter was 6 years and 1 month old. Looked like ***.

Nothings ever easy on teh audi

So something like 60% of us have crappy control arms/Tie Rod Ends, and most of us just let them squeak and groan. Well I perfected the $1.99 fix!

Go to autozone, buy that baggy of bearing grease.

Locate ripped boot/joint

Pull back, and pack as much bearing grease as possible into joint.

Put wheel back on, and bounce suspension to work the grease in a little. Enjoy the lack of squeaking

So, I got that 4x4 status

Turns out the wheels that were on the jetta, were 5x112. The PO used adapters.

Don't mind the awkward rake, Its on a slope.

Left my car in front of my job for 6 hours with some chalk, and a note saying "write on me"

Got this after 6 hours.

Slowly getting my stance.

19s barely fit

Needs spacers.

no spacers needed. My 18's sit closer! can't even fit a finger between! You're a brave man I'd be scared of someone trying to write on the doors or something!

Yeah, not sure why you said you need spacers, you're fine!

So I deem the hood a success. I left it in front of my job, and mostly kids 7-13 wrote on it, as well as some teens and adults. Those kids pressed HARD too. I let that sit on the car overnight. Went out with a bucket of soapy water and a rag the next morning, and it came right off. There was a little residue, but some more vigorous scrubbing took that off.

Success

Oh, I poke too

And I made a fwiend at the starbucks by my house

GOD I NEED LOW
