So since I've had my B5, the reception to lock and unlock the car via the key hasn't been crash hot but usually works as long as I'm standing close enough to the car. But lately I've noticed that it will work in some places and not others. If I am next to a big garage door, it usually works. If I am parking out in the open somewhere, like not near a building or garage door, it won't lock / unlock. To me it seems like a reception type issue. I've had the batteries changed in the remote to no avail. Anybody have any ideas or have had this problem before?
