Default Keyless Entry just stopped working.

idk what to do guys. my keyless entry worked just fine until the otehr day, now it doesn't work, i've tried to sync is myself from the owners manual, it still doesn't work. the batterys in the key were replaced a couple of months ago. so im just assuming they would still be good. just a little help would be nice?

thanks.

I just had the same problem - i replaced the battery although the meter at the local Autozone said it was fine. Did you find a solution??

does the vac pump still make noise when you push the button? If not, try turning the key twice one direction or the other in the driver's side door. That will activate the vacuum pump (if it still works) and unlock all the doors. If the doors unlock, then you know its your remote, if not, then you know its your vac pump (or somethin else perhaps)

Is it just not locking and unlocking or not responding at all? Like do the lights till flash?

the door lock button works on the door pannel - both locking and unlocking the car - it's the remote that doesn't seem to communicate with the car - no lock, unlock, trunk

Lock the car manually. Take the key, and put it in the driver's door lock barrel. Turn it to the left (unlock) and hold the unlock button for a second, then turn it to the right (lock) and hit the lock button for a second. Unlock the car, (either manually or with the remote) and put the key in the ignition and fire it up. Turn the car off and see if this synchronized the remote.
