kits and mods
trying to put a kit on my car. i;m from the bay. is there anyway you can buy kits without ordering online? trying to get the rs4 conversion kit. i also wanna get a k04 turbo upgrade from my 99 1.8t, is there anything else i need to get in order to upgrade the turbo? chip, intercooler, etc? just wondering any input would be great.

lets just put it this way....... s4 stuff from the dealerwill cost you a grand + unpainted, so i would assume that rs4 stuff would be more like 2 grand unpainted

well i was searching online on ebay for 650.00 and this other site online for 680 plus shipping, but are unpainted. is that too cheap to be legit?

ooo ok sweet. alright i;ll look for the abs plastic or urathane. by the way whats the difference? also, i;ve decided to go with the GIAC chip with the k04 upgrade. besides a new DV do i need anything else because my car is total stock. in otherwords, since everything else is stock, the new upgrade isnt gonna blow my motor and valves or anything like that?

i dont know if you NEED anything else, but i would deff. say a boost gauge and a FMIC are almost NEED to have items. someone will correct me if im wrong, but i think with a chip and the proper fittings and everything, thats about it, right? ive heard injectors, but im not sure if thats needed for a Ko4, i kno you need them with bigger turbos though.

abs plastic = a lot better then fiberglass
urathane = will never break/crack unless you hit something hard
