Default Lag in power/jerking 98' A4

Recently I noticed that when I try to accelerate with my 1998 A4 (automatic) it makes a strange sound that sounds like the car is bogging down and there is a slight jerk at around 20-35mph with a slight loss of power. The car has about 130,000 miles the timing belt was changed at 74,000 and the transmission had a fluid change 10,000 miles ago. I don't know what the problem could be, the check engine light is not even on.

No the car is completly stock, I have a feeling its the trans because the car always gives me this problem of jerking between 20-35mph. Also when I have at a light holding the brake pedal, the rpms go down a little and the engine sounds like its losing power for a few seconds.

Whats the sound resemble? A honking goose?

I am guessing a bad DV or a vacuum/boost leak.

Hey what iv been dealing with is a misfire on my car iv been chasing around for a month and what it does is when it misfires the engine jerks a little trying to go but when it first started didn't throw the light until was real bad. Also i think think the loss of power we have at least me my turbo wouldn't spool up cas the compression was off. My car is at 150000 also
