Default Leaking Anti freeze help!!

Ok so i have been leaking antifreeze for around a week now and need to get it fixed...i am losing around 1/4 of a gallon a day and i cant find where it is leaking from

I cant see any hoses that are cracked or leaking so i think it might be a water pump....here are the symptoms.

Underneath the car i see antifreeze but in different places not alot coming out but drips from different areas.....

It looks like its only leaking fluids when the car is running. and when i finish driving and come back out to my car i see a puddle of fluid.

I smell antifreeze when i am driving.

I have a 99 a4 quattro 2.8 please help as i am starting to worry and need a car.

Thanks

I will bet money it's your coolant flange. If it cracks you will leak antifreeze everywhere but it's hard to see. Look all around for pink crusted stuff in your engine bay.

the coolant flange usually isn't a problem on the 2.8s. what have you been adding in? i'd go pick up some coolant, distilled water and a coolant leak detection kit and get to work lol.

ok so i looked under the hood and it looks like it is the water pump...which sucks...there is only anti freeze in the front of the car and the coolant flange is in the back of the engine....any ideas on how to get a good fix...can i do it myself or is it just a pain...i was also thinking of changing the timing belt while i'm there...anything else i should do or any other advice?
