Default leaking water, please help!

So, i recently bought my first German car, a 2001 a4 1.8t 5 speed, and i love it! a few days after i bought it, i noticed the backseat floor was damp, it dried out and i kind of forgot about it. Well, the other day it was very windy and raining in this area, and when i got in my car i noticed a puddle of water on the floor. i sucked about a gallon of water off the floor with a shop vac, but i think more might be under the carpet. any ideas how all this water got in? i looked at the door seals and window seals, they look fine to me. the only spot that was wet was the right side backseat floor, everything else is dry. i did notice the car looks like it has been recently painted, could this be the result of bad body work, or maybe leaking sunroof?

the sunroof is a likely cause. there's a hose going from the top of the car to the trunk that you may want to make sure is in good order.
It's hard to explain where it is though... If you open the trunk, there's a cavity behind the carpet/pocket to the right, you can pull those out and see the CLP. If you reach back you'll find the hose (that should connect to a pipe that drains out the side of the car) as well as the trunk latch.
