i need the rubber strip thats attached to the chrome trim. Will that even solve the problem? it feels pretty solid. The inside picture is a question? is that a seal of any importance? i can see the water dripping off the windows, drivers door is the worse. the moulding is wet at the bottom of the drivers door. is this because i have no door panels in? all 4 doors are wet but only the drivers door is letting water in the car. ill buy all the rubber strips if possible, at this point I'm about to throw it off a cliff

i had a similar problem with my 98 b5. It had something to do with the sunroof drain. eventually i would get a nasty inch of water behind the passenger seat. Pretty ******* gross to be honest, and it made the car smell like a footlocker.

If you can, maybe try using an air compressor with a blowtip and blast the **** out of the little drain sockets in the sunroof. Otherwise you may have to take it apart, or pay someone some serious manhours to do so

Not particularly sure about the part number.

Check out ECS, they might have the product and usually list the actual part number. Also you can call the dealership and explain to them what part it is and they should be able to give you the part number.
