Have read a bunch of posts regarding this and it sounds like the regulator except I am not hearing any grinding with mine. When it doesn't go up by itself I am able to pull on the top of the glass and push the up button and get the glass to go up and stay. (Another thing that seems to be different - most of the posts are reporting taping the glass up to keep it in place - so far ours will stay in place. Any chance it is the up/down switch or the motor vs. the regulator or do I just order a new regulator and not look back? Also OEM for $110 or aftermarket for $50? Thanks, Scott - Layton, UT
