It would decrease flow over both and could cause damage to the fins (again, worse flow) or worse.

Those taillights are too badass, Brian, the lead pipe would break due to the sheer awesomeness that is these turn signals.

Clear no, but if you tint them they would be better.

 

I was going to do that, along with sanding down that chrome and duplicoloring it to match my paint trim. Right now it does look a wee bit ricery. That, and I have white turn signals, which are illegal... hopefully I don't get pulled over![&:]
