For some reason when I turn on my headlights, (hids) my stereo turns off. Well it stays on but stops playing music. Turn it off and back on and it's fine. Turn the lights off and back on and it stays playing music. But the first time I turn on the lights per start up, it kills the music. Any ideas guys?

 

Are you running a kit, VVME by any chance? I had the same problem, it would make my screen flicker on my stereo, then stop playing and sort of freeze (the screen would stay backlit but it wouldnt display anything), i would have to pull the fuse and put it back to fix it. I changed my HIDs to "digital" ones that are really small, I cant remember the name of the company someone will chime in, they are becoming more popular than the vvme kits and I no longer have that problem anymore.

 

Not sure who made them. Xentec I beleive. Never had problems with them before. All I have to do is hit the power button off and on and they music comes back on. It's nit a huge deal, just weird.
