Where upstate are you? Several of us are in Binghamton, Cortland, Syracuse, Ithaca, and Corning - probably 10 guys on here within an hour of each other.

 

Start looking on Craigslist. Your looking for the same A4 as most people so if you find one that fits the bill you best hop on it. I got lucky on mine and got it for $1800 with a little bit of damage. Still it came with all the listed parts you named plus full exhaust, K04 turbo, Giac tune, carbonio intake, and all the required maintenance with only 125,xxx miles.

I remember right before I bought it I almost took a 98 around Baltimore for $2800. It had S4 interior and some bolt ons.

 

Exactly what I'm looking for. I bought my 97 b5 for 700$ but it's just been nickel and diming me since I got it, but it doesn't help that I bought it with 197k and now has 201k. And I live in glens falls, queensbury, lake George area. I've been looking for the last couple weeks but can't seem to find it in my are and there's so many diff locations on CL in NY alone...

 

I bought mine in Syracuse almost 4 years ago... I was searching CL for weeks in all the local areas until this one popped up. Call the guy within an hour of him posting it, test drove that day, bought it the next!

Of course, now it's in Texas.

 

mine is for sale in swanton vermont. (cl vermont) im currently in college and car is sitting and dont want to see the old girl not be used. i have my dad start the car 1-2 times a week to make sure it starts right up, and also tell him to drive it. i will go down on price if i keep the rs4 reps and pioneer avh4100dvd touch screen. and devil what price you think i should post it for if he doesnt want to buy? if you dont mind..

yur audi is a ice deal but to do the valve stem seals, id have to rip apat the head and rebuild it. thats alot of work in itself. i did it on my saab before i found out the block was cracked.

 

yeah i hear you. i would do it myself but right now i currently cant due to college in wyoming.
