Was going to order these tomorrow:

ASA AR2s, but after staring at my Performance VW magazine (amazing magazine!!!), I think I'd like to avoid the mesh that everyone else seems to do, and also the black with the chrome lip thatso many others arerunning.
Was thinking maybe a 5-spoke:

but Tire Rack and Discount Tire (which have access tothe same brands as the shop I'm going through) really don't have any that catch my attention (at least not with the "try on your car" feature).
There were also these 6 spokes:

Look a helluva lot like the newer RS4 wheels but with a lip. The center is charcoal, and is almost shineless. Def not your standard black.

I know you can't go wrong with a mesh wheel on an A4, but I'd like to have something a little different and would love suggestions. I currently have 17"RS4 styled stock wheels painted graphite. They have my winter tires mounted on them, and they'll become my winter wheels.

I've got the chrome surround on the grill painted black now. Should have coilovers on before April, I pray I can get that side trim off without holes behind it, and have a longterm goal of getting those roof rails off.
Looking for 18", but wouldn't mind 19", as the plans I have are a little showy and it would prevent me from having to buy different wheels down the road.

If you have any suggestions, let me know. If you happen to have pictures, +1000 points!

 

I dont have any suggestions but must say i do like 5 spoke wheels. When i get my rims im looking to avoid mesh as well, but i want black/chrome lip so my opinion wont help much.

 

I don't have a problem with black with chrome, but it's almost too easy to pull off.
Maybe I'll wait another day and do some photochopping.

 

After lookin at your car in your sig for a minute, i envisioned what I would do to my avant, if i had one. Black it all out,black glossed rims (no chrome lip), blacked out windows, tails, maybe headlights.. Thats the first time I've ever wished I had an avant.

I'd almost kill for the the Tork Revos or Champions to be made in a 17" with 5x112 bolt pattern. [:@]

 

I liked the Imagine and F-15 wheels on their page, but neither was quite what I was looking for. Thank you very much for posting that up! I ended up ordering the AR2s in 18" till I get the car personalized some. Then I think I can pull off something like the Imagines in 19s and not look dorky.
I'm real excited for my Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3s!!!!
