I wonder, if its worth installing the BOV if the car is stock. I debate with myself the pros/cons.

My thinking is: well if i only boost at 9psi with my stock car, i will probably not get a good sound of the BOV. I do intend to BT the car somewhere this summer. Also there is little detail i forgot to tell. I dont have a garage. So all modifications are done in my wonderful tempo with the surrounding temperarture at this time of the year(from -10C to -35C) So even if i perfrom the diode/ mbc / boost guage install, it will not be very pleasent for me to do it.

So the following question: Is it worth doing all those mods now(would i be like wow, what a difference!!!) or should i wait for BT?

definitely do it. the bov will still be MUCH louder than your stock dv and it takes 30 min to put in. the diode mod costs very little and it will feel like a whole new car, and then your bov will sound even louder. honestly, i dont know how anyone drives a stock 1.8t

So I just installed the 004 and that thing is so sick, lol. With the windows down its rediculousy loud but not annoying. It actually kind of sounds like a greddy type s. Heres a shitty video that decided to lag in the middle of it but you can still hear the sound...
