Default At a loss, not sure weather I should sell e 2.8 and get a 1.8T or not

About a month ago I purchased a 2001 2.8 Quattro MT. I knew a friend of mine had one for sale and knew it was a great price for the car so I grabbed it up. I hadn't realized it was so tough to upgrade the 2.8. Now I'm not sure if I should keep the 2.8 or sell it and find a 1.8T. Car came with Upgraded brakes/kn intake/short shifter/hid's and 109k. I see there is no point in getting a tune for the 2.8, it just doesn't make sense to spend so much money for dismal HP gains. What would you do?

If you want a 1.8t, buy one. Its the only way.

I should have been more clear, sorry about that. I want more power really. I'm just not sure how to get it with the 2.8. Getting it tuned seems pointless. I would imagine exhaust will get me some power just not to sure how much. Not sure if injectors would help my cause out. Was hoping a 2.8 owner would be able to give me some input to help me with my decision.

If you want to add power buy a 1.8t, just not enough gains to be had for the 2.8. A super charger just isn't worth what you spend for it. They barely add enough power to equal a stock S4.

Do it! If you're a gearhead then the 1.8T is definitely the way to go. If you're a masochist you'll get a 2.7T.

I've already decided to go 1.8T. I asked my buddy about his views on getting a 2.7T S4 being he owns one. After his input I decided to go 1.8T. Its just tough to find exactly what I want in my area right now. Looking for a Black on Black Quattro w/ MT with under 100K for exactly what the car is worth. I'll remain patient until I find what I want, this way I'll have no regrets later on.
