I just had the oil changed last week. I am 30 miles away from home right now and will be home tonight. Also I can't tell where it is coming from... I'm worried =(

Can you tell even a little? Front of car, back of car, left, right? As already asked, does it vary with speed? Do you hear it at idle, car stopped? What about idle with the car moving (in neutral)?

Check your fluids. Check for any loose pieces dragging.

basically what dragon said. you have to give us more than just that. i mean we can make you a list of what could be possibly wrong but i don't think you want to take your car to a shop with that list.

Also, while the car is making the noise place your finger or better yet hold a unfolded clothes hanger and touch metal parts (be careful not to touch moving ones). The more vibration, the more likely this is the point of orientation.

I am home now and I have not checked the oil yet but the thumping is loudest around 10-20mph and it doesn't matter if i am in neutral or any other gear, but the speed is what makes the thumping happen(i think?).

Last week i got my oil changed, a new outer tie rod end on the driver side of my car done and my car aligned...

What could this mysterious sound be?

is it while your turning? or going straight? try rolling down one window at a time while driving... roll one down, then back up and go to the next one and so on... and see what window its loudest from... and again, hopefully its not coming from the engine lol
