Default Lovin this car, hating its tantrums

So I posted before about swapping the shifter, got that all squared away thank god. However the other issue I have to tackle now is something that's hard to describe especially since it is not giving me any codes to work on.

Car cold = runs great

Car warm = lets start an intricate circus of me worrying about coming to a stop and trying to go

I basically will be able to drive the car without a hitch when the engine is cold. When it hits right in the middle on the thermostat and when the engine oil hits about 200 degrees I run into a very intermittent issue. I will be at a stop, my observation is the idle will drop below 1000 rpms, and giving it gas kills the RPMs and if I gas it too much it will stall all together. Takes forever to get it started back up because the engines flooded. Doesn't have any of those issues when I am not stopped. My research obviously gives me 3 results. Fuel system = filter/pump/injectors. I am against this because I have no issues provided I am cruising along, even at low speeds. MAF system = whole intake setup. Which it is a modified intake which looks to be pretty solid? and last and not least is the exhaust system = catalytic converter/leaks/pipe. I am very frustrated because I don't know where to start because there is very many expensive (even as DIY) things to fix any 3 of these problems that I don't want to guess at.

I wonder if anyone knows this issue and or possibly the best way to figure out what my problem is.

Since the symptoms are related to the temp of the motor, I'd start with the coolant temp sensor, for two reasons:

1. It's known to take a crap in this car without throwing any codes
2. It's cheap, $20 and 20 minutes.

I second this, sounds like a classic CTS failure.

Not to thread jack here but I've been noticing a rough idle once the engine heats up...Never thought of the CTS. Mines a 96 AFC..

Hmmmmm
