Question Lower Door Trim

Hey guys-

Well, got home today and found that my lower passenger front door trim (the rubber black strip) has fallen off. I think its from pulling out of my curved driveway and skimming the snow pile on the passenger side. I know this happens a lot to our cars so help me out.

Where can I pick one of these black trim strips up? It looks like it just clips on so it probably easy to do, but if any of you guys happen to have an extra or if you have a slavaged door, then please hit me up. If not, then do any of you guys know where I can get one?

thanks in advance guys

go to a euro junkyard in your area. vwvortex.com classified section has a ton of b5's being parted out. probably your 2 best options if u don't want to order a new one.

it's real easy to install. you slide it on from the rear of the door and attach at the front with one screw from the inside. probably gonna need a new screw, mine was all rusted into the only bit of trim still attached and had to be drilled out. ecs has them for 47 bucks if you cant get the ebay ones.

Yep, very easy install and they're not expensive even brand new. I'd go that route - it'd be easy to damage one removing it from a car. Just buy a new one and have the peace of mind.
