Yep, the OEM struts will wear out quickly with lowering springs - they're not designed to run at a lower ride height. Check out www.stratmosphere.com for Vmaxx coilovers - $599 a set last time I checked their site (that's for struts, springs, perches, and adjusting wrench).
Coilovers. . . . $600. . . . thats bananas! has anyone heard or V-Maxx or is anyone running them now. Sounds two good to be worth it (could be a you get what you pay for situation)

A lot of guys run them in the VW world and they are slowly growing in the Audi world. I know of a few guys who run them on a few sites and love them, they are about Stock stiffness though so they are more for looks then for performance enhancing ability

well im just lookin to drop my ride height, nothing lost in performance tho?
