can you run just lowering springs on stock suspention or do you need to use new struts?

 

i think you can on the sport suspension... not sure about non sport

 

how do i even know if i have the sport suspention.

 

it depends how 'agressive' the 'lowering springs' are. if ur not goin too low you can use the stock (if sport) suspension. if not you could buy s4 shocks (i think they fit). but if ur gonna drop it significantly then go with sport shocks/struts...
you know you dont have sport susp. if you can pretty much stick ur head between ur tire and fender lol

I believe if you can see that your shocks are red, then you have sport.

 

also if you have the "sport" 3 spoke steering wheel...

 

well, im going to venture a guess and say i do have sport suspention. i have the 3 spoke wheel with a little silver and red audi badge in the middle of the bottom spoke.
