Friends, Audi owners, countrymen, lend me your gears;

First, please forgive the newbie-ness of the following newbie questions, as I am aware that adding a thread just clutters things. But, as I posted in the "New A4 owner check in" I am just getting started, and have not 'officially' taken control of the A4 that I am driving.

All that being said, a couple of questions:

- Which is the best owners manual for a guy who has experience turning wrenches, but doesn't mind a detailed description. (I assume 'Poor Richards A4 manual does not exist!! :P)

- Please rate the following repair items in terms of difficulty. 1 being 'MMCDI' (my mom could do it) and 10 being 'Experts only'. As I said I have plenty of experience turning wrenches, on VW's for years. From the '79 Scirocco S to the Mark 3 Jetta 16V. I know these Audi machines are WAY more precise, but I am a capable guy. I haven't even cracked the hood yet, so I have no idea to be honest how difficult things are. The items to rate are:

Spark Plug replacement
Fuel Filter replacemnt
Air Filter replacement
Coil Pack replacement

From the above it should be obvious the Audi is a little ill at present. She has a CEL, and it's a mis-fire issue. I'm not going to drive it until I can give her some love and well deserved attention. Also if someone would be so kind as to point a fellow in the direction of a guide to do the above repairs in case the 'user recommended' Manual doth not arrive before I have replacement parts in hand. All those are easy, easier with diy's floating around. Codes will give you a better idea what's wrong
