Default Manual tranny and diff change

Guys, just to confirm the capacities and procedure:

2001 1.8 Q .

Manual tranny: Fluid Redline MT90 (75w90 GL4) will need 2.75L or 2.91 Quarts.
Fill line is 7mm BELOW the bottom of the fill plug bottom edge.
Drain: 25NM
Fill: 25NM

Diff: Fluid: 75w90 GL5. will need 1.9L (2.1Q)
Fill till drips out of fill plug.
Torque:
Drain:35NM
Fill: 35 NM

Thanks!!!

Sounds OK, I had it done by a shop (no famous VW drain-plug tool) so not sure about fill levels. I also put MT-90 in the gearbox/trans. case (they share the fluid and that's why it has to be GL-4) and RoyalPurple MaxGear in diff. I remember buyin 3 bottles of MT-90 and 2 bottles of RP MG 75W90

i never heard of the "fill 7mm below the hole" thing. i just filled mine up till it started coming out. i dont think that is terribly important. the quantities are correct though. make sure you buy the drain plug tool, and always remove the fill plug before the drain plug. if you cant get the fill plug off dont drain the fluid out, you have no way of replacing it.

It is mentioned on page 37 of maintenance description of work of the FSM....and says not to overfill beyond that mark... I saw it on another audi forum...
