Unhappy maybe, its not the time for me to own an audi...

ok, i have had several problems with my car, the last as u all know is the chain tensioner, more than $1,000 dollar job, im 20, I dont do much money, I go to school and I love audis, I just dont want to get rid of my car, it only has 68k miles , my other choice is to ask my friend for a loan, and pay in about a 2 months, I know she can do that, but at the end of next month im moving to an apartment, and i will need money 4 that.. I alredy put the car on craiglist im asking $8,000, and 2day i received a call, but im not sure if i want to do that... any suggestions?

You know your situation. If you think you can't handle owning an Audi at the moment, there is no shame in buying a cheaper car to get out of the rough spot. Once you settle down in your apartment and settle down with school, you can always buy an Audi or whatever car you would like. Instead of borrowing money from your friend, I would buy a cheaper car because you will still need to pay that money back and while you are driving the cheaper car, (hopefully with good gas milage) you will be able to save money. Good luck.

get rid of it and buy a 90' audi 100 in black. its the same car ferris buellers dad drove.
i had that car and its what gave me my initial love for audi. when i was a poor high school student that was the only taste of luxury i had. it had 5 cylinders and three speeds in the slushbox, definitely unique if not ackward in comparison to the norm.
downgrade, theres no reason you have to stay with having a newish audi. you save a lot of money and you still rock out with the germans.

Selling yours and buying an even older audi that will need repairs is not the answer. I know that much. Whatever "I don't do much money" means, doesn't sound good. If you arent a DIY-er, sell now while your're ahead, and get back into the audi scene when finances permit. Owing friends money is never a position you should want to find yourself in.

im not getting an older audi, maybe a cheap honda, while I can save a more to keep an audi, its really sad to do this, i love my car as much as any of you do yours, but i guess i have no other choice, definelly im not borrowing money, but " I SHALL BE BACK"

Not that this is good advise to the OP but I did see a green 100 CS Quattro yesterday. It was so clean and classy. 16 wheels looked so good. Yeah... I busted a nut over the classic Audi. lol. I was in my Cummins so I didn't stand out but I gave the guy a thumbs up, he was like... wtf? Makes me wanna get a 100 or 90 turbo to whip around a good bit.
