Oh yeah, those are forged wheels by Rotiform.

The Fat Fives came on the D3 before the facelift. I believe around 2003-2004 before the one piece front grille.

I thought that too but I was thinking maybe it was just cuz the A8 looks is so big. I would def put a big brake kit if I were to go with those fat fives. They look good but I would lose acceleration it seems

There is only one version of the Flat Fives (I think I referred to them as Fat Fives on previous page, iPad somehow corrected it to that). There is also the Fat Fives which come off some C5 A6 and the TT.

Like vgo said, I think the reason why they look skinnier is because the picture has them on an A8. The B5 is a much smaller body, plus the tires on the A8 are giant (I think they are something like 245/45/18) compared to the usual 215/40/18 people put to run them on a B5.

Krip is right, the d2 a8 also had a 17 inch version of flat fives, somebody over on audizine picked them up.

And they do slow down acceleration a little bit but it's nothing huge. Id rather run these and love my stance than some lightweight wheels that don't look as good though haha.

Brandon, where could i score a set of Fat Fives and what is the part number for them? How much do they run and what is the most, you would pay for a set in mint condition, with no curb rash?

Thinking of moving from my plaid trim to a brushed aluminum or piano black.

Want to switch it up and "grow up" from the plaid but after finishing a brushed aluminum piece and placing it in my car just seems so boring.. ideas?

Try multi-tone layout to contrast other aspects of the interior cabin.

I should have mentioned I'm going to be doing a black suede headliner with a light bronze diamond stitch
