Looks like the A pillar is a pretty common location for the MK4.

egh only problem was it looks a little cheesy im digging this kit from ecs

I would go column over A pillar provided the column doesn't block any of the gauges and doesn't look out of place against the cluster.

That shifter looks really tall.

if i did that colum i would haft to rewrap the cloth around gauge to make it look oem or somthing like that i dont like things not looking oem my car doesnt have the digital display on the cluster i think it was only for the vr6 models also i defferntly need a short shifter and yeah its a little tall

umm im not sure im sure the steering wheel is the only bag in the front, ill come up with somthing cleaver in the mean time im thread jacking and ill be saving up for this new gauge =]
