Default Mirrors? Clarify

Hi all im new here, got the car from a friend for free. i got a question that might be stupid and i apologize in advance, my car has two different style mirrors? the colors match perfect! but is that how is suppossed to be? if so can i put a different mirror on passenger side to make em' even and where can i find the replacement? i've been looking online for pics and cant find any, maybe i haven't looked enough, i've never seen such a thing! i actually might keep this look lol

thanks and pardon my stupidity

that tells us you have a pre-facelift car.... 96-99(could be wrong on the latter yrs)

you want to buy a facelift mirror, off a 99.5-01

just find someone parting a new b5, local junkyard maybe, dealer, might even get lucky online(craigslist/ebay)

He said it. Those are you best shots at getting that mirror. Even if the junkyard gives you a good price don't be too full of pride to cry it down lol

You need the glass, housing, mounting arm, and internals - don't just get the housing and glass.

The mirrors on my 99.5 are the best ever. My B6's mirrors suck in comparison. I had almost zero blind spots on my B5, but the blind spots on my B6's are quite large with the smaller, more narrow mirrors.
