Default Misfire/stalls.

I have a 2000 A4 1.8t. I'm having trouble with the start. It misfires and stalls out. It shakes hard. I'm stuck if anyone has an suggestions it would be appreciated.

When’s the last time you did a tune up? Is it throwing any codes?

I just did the tune up. New plugs and a coil harness.
It was thowing a random misfire code before. The reader I was using stopped working and I'm using a different one. It only shows MAF low input. I replaced the crankcase breather hose and this is when it all started. It would run and idle rough but it had a lot of vacuum leaks. I fixed all the vacuum issues. Now won't stay running with out me giving it's gas. It's loud and pops now. I'm not sure if it's a miss or backfire.

You need to run VAG COM on it. In the mean time, check the pigtails on your coil packs (to make sure you didn't cross any wires) and make sure the coils are in the right cylinders. Also double check your vacuum hose routing and connections. It also wouldn't be a bad idea to see if you've blown any fuses anywhere. Air delivery and exhaust are also worth taking a quick look at.

If it all started after changing the breather hose, then check your work. Is the system plugged? Did you install a one way check valve backwards? Did you remove all the vac hoses all at once or one at a time? Maybe a hose was inserted onto the wrong pipe? Have you tried unplugging your MAF and see if it runs better?

As A4TurboGuy stated, scan for codes and see what you are getting and post them up.
