Well being new to the Audi I keep noticing different things that are missing. Im hoping someone can tell me what I need to fix.
To start with it is a 01 a4 avant, (I love it by the way)

1. I bought a ski bag from a sedan for the back seat from the junkyard and it doesn't seem to fit in my opening, there is obviously some trim missing behind the center arm rest, is this a different trim than the sedan or is it something specific for this year/model.

2. The front of the car under the bumper, If you look at it straight on you can see the bottom of the accumulator? (blue canister on driver side) I know there is supposed to be a splash guard but it seems like a lot of the canister is sticking out. The bumper seems like it is all there though.

3. Mounted to the top of the cd changer is an electronic box with some wires snapped off of it, what is this box for? It is obvious that the plugs are snapped off but I cant seem to figure out what the box is for. I think it might have something to do with the stereo but that isnt working in my car right now so I cant verify that something isnt working.

I know that sedans and avants have different back seats because I put sedan seats in my old avant. If I recall correctly, the reverse will not work. That said, I thought the ski bags were completely interchangeable though. It's possible that the bag you bought is incomplete or that it doesn't fit because your avant was not equipped with a ski bag from the factory.

There should be a black plastic valence snapped to the bottom of the bumper, and a black plastic belly pan attached to that. If you can see the accumulator, I assume your belly pan is MIA. If you really want to replace the plastic one, you'll want to get it from a junk yard because a new one from Audi will run you like $300. For that kind of money, I suggest you replace it with a metal skid plate instead. This is the one I had on my old avant.

I'm not entirely sure what you're talking about here but it definitely doesn't sound stock. Could you post a picture of it?
