No, you take it to the recycling center because it is very illegal to dump chemicals, especially a highly toxic one such as coolant, into a drain of any kind. I sincerely hope you are joking. Coolant is toxic if ingested by animals or humans, or consuming water contaminated with coolant or animals that have ingested coolant. Not to mention the ridiculous clean-up fees the EPA or DEP will charge you when your disgruntled neighbors catch you in the act or their cat drinks it and dies.

if you water it down alot it is ok. that is what i did. y ou need to run the water when draining it. because in places like alabama, we dont have a recycling center that isnt 40 miles away

No, it's not. And you broke the law and contaminated the environment. Very responsible.

A quick internet search reveals that your home town has a program to recycle hazardous chemicals as well as motor oil.
