i have a 1999 a4, im new to the audi world and im starting to see 1999.5 and 2001.5 ect... just wondering what the difference is between my car and 1999.5? or do i have a 1999.5?

very confused...

 

post pictures. Halfway through 99 they gave the a4 a facelift.

 

answered my own question. i called audi and gave them the vin. he said i have the 99.5...good i guess but what the differences?

yes that will answer pretty much all cosmetic differences between facelift/nonfacelift. i go there all the time
if im driving down the road, the first thing i look at is the sidemarker light. prefacelift is a orange square and facelifted is a white rectangle. that and the badge location is located on the uppermost part of the trunk of prefacelift. on facelift it is located on line with the licsense plate

 

any interior differences?
